Product Description

PPG Sigmatherm 500 is a heat resistant up to 500°C modified alkyd aluminium coating to be used for the internal and external protection of steel surfaces.

Best Uses

PPG Sigmatherm 500 is heat resistant up to 500°C, although a minimum of 200°C is necessary to fuse the aluminium coating. Suitable for infrastructure, chemical / petrochemical or power plants, offshore, marine dry dock or new build and sea stores use.

Application

Steel should be blast cleaned to ISO-Sa2 1/2 or ISO-Sa3 at 40 - 70 microns. Stir well prior to use. Apply using air spray or airless spray.
