Application

Prior the application of the Sikagard® Hygienic Coating System the priming coat if used must have cured for the appropriate Waiting Time / Overcoating (please refer to the PDS of the appropriate primer). Damageable areas (handrails etc.) must be protected with tape or plastic wrapping.

Apply the first coat of Sikagard® Hygienic Coating with a consumption rate according to the PDS of the relevant hygienic coating system. Work only so far in advance
that the material stays liquid. Roll out the Sika Reemat Lite and ensure that there are no bubbles or creases. Overlapping of Sika Reemat Lite must be minimum 5cm and ensure overlaps are sufficiently wet to bond. The roller may require only a little extra material to remain wet but no further significant material needs to be added at this stage.

After the coat as had the appropriate Waiting Time / Overcoating contine with subsequent coats as per the relevant Sikagard® Hygienic Coating Datasheet / System Datasheet.
