Thermoguard Flame Retardant Eggshell is a flame retardant topcoat finish to protect, seal and decorate over Thermoguard base coats within a system for 30 or 60 minute fire protection.

Best Uses

Thermoguard Flame Retardant Eggshell is suitable for use over Thermoguard Thermocoat WI, Thermoguard Thermocoat WO & Thermoguard Thermocoat WS. Also suitable over 2 coats of Thermoguard Timbercoat for 30 or 60 mins.

Durable, high opacity, weather-resistant
Maintains Class 0 on primed non-combustible surfaces

Application

For use in a Thermoguard fire protection system as a topcoat only.

Apply via brush, roller or conventional spray. Ensure substrate is suitably dry. Do not apply when rain, damp or condensation may occur during application or drying.

To maintain existing fire rating of primer / base coat apply:

Over Similar Base Coat Colour: 1 coat Thermoguard Flame Retardant Eggshell at 8m2 per litre
Over Contrasting Base Coat Colour: 2 coats Thermoguard Flame Retardant Eggshell at 10m2 per litre
Over Systems For External Use - 2 coats Thermoguard Flame Retardant Eggshell at 10m2 per litre
