Watco Concrex Fine Filler
Watco Concrex Fine Filler is an easy to use paste, for repairing blemishes and bolt holes in concrete prior to painting. Economical to use, as you only mix as much as you need!
Best Uses
Concrex Fine Filler can be used inside or outside, and is the perfect solution for filling minor impections on floors, or vertical surfaces. Use to repair scratches, blemishes and bolt holes, prior to painting. The finished repair can either be left as a wearing surface, or can be painted over with a suitable coating, to give a professional finish.
Application
Preparation:
As always the surface should be fully prepped prior to application. Ensure that the surface is clean, dry sound, and free from any dust, oil, grease or other contaminants. Note: some surface dampness can be tolerated, but the surface should not be wet.
Mixing:
Using the spatulas that are provided, take equal sized portions of the resin and the curing agent and thoroughly mix them together until they are a uniform grey colour. Only mix manageable amounts together at any one time (no more than can be used in 15-20 minutes).
Application:
Using the palstic scraper provided in the pack, immediately smear the mixed components over the repair and then smooth off. Wiping the plastic scraper with a cloth dampened with white spirit will make the smoothing easier. The repair can then be painted over with Watco products after just 1-2 hours.
For repairs thats are deeper than 5mm we recommend you use Watco Concrex® Carbon Fibre.
