Anti-Slip Paints For Concrete Floors

Promain offer a range of anti-slip solutions for concrete floors in a variety of colours and grades of aggregate to suit your requirements. Often, these can be applied over an existing coating, or like other paints if you have new concrete some preparation and priming will be required first.

Food preparation facilities often have wet floors, so a textured coating prevents slipping and injury. Designated walkways in factories and storage warehousing not only have added texture, but, can be painted in a contrasting colour outlined in white or yellow so that visitors and staff know they are in a designated walkway. This meets the needs of health and safety requirements. These products are available in both single pack and epoxy two packs.

Some coatings utilise an anti-slip aggregate that can be hand cast over the first coat and encapsulated with a second coat or simply back rolled. Other products will have an anti-slip aggregate pre-mixed with the paint.
