Bedec Aqua Advanced High Obliterating Water Based Matt vinyl emulsion formally known as Bedec Blockfill, is a water based high build obliterating interior masonry paint for walls.
Bedec High Obliterating Matt has been formulated to be easily applied by brush, roller or airless spray, often in one coat, to breeze block, brickwork and plaster walls and is suitable for renovating acoustic ceiling tiles.
Bedec Aqua Advanced High Obliterating Matt has been formulated as a high build high obliterating water based matt finish paint that is suitable for use on internal walls and ceilings. Bedec Aqua Advanced High Obliterating Matt is suitable for use on to infill block and brickwork offering a smoother surface where cost of rendering or plastering is not required. Aqua Advanced is a system providing good coverage to most surfaces though very porous substrates often require a further coat. Aqua Advanced is ideally suited to interior applications such as walls and ceilings in warehouses, stockrooms, factories, etc., over suitably prepared surfaces.
Aqua Advanced High Obliterating Matt provides a smoother surface where the cost of rendering and plastering is prohibitive. High Obliterating Matt is available in white and other colours such as magnolia (special order), making it ideal for use on factory, warehouse and stockroom walls as well as stables, barns and agricultural buildings.
Bedec Aqua Advanced High Obliterating Matt should be used on surfaces which are clean and free from wax, grease, oil, dust and loose particles. Bare surfaces should be primed with an appropriate primer or priming technique. Ensure new plaster and cement is dry before application.

Ensure the surfaces to be painted are clean dry and free from dust, dirt grease and wax. Remove all loose and defective paint. Algal, fungal or mould growths should be removed and treated with a fungicidal wash. Smooth glossy surfaces should be lightly abraded to provide a key. On unpainted cement, render, plaster, brick work
or any porous substrate the first coat should be thinned with 20-30% clean water. New plaster and cement should be allowed to dry thoroughly before application.
Where there is a risk of staining (Extractive discolouration) treatment with Bedec Stain Block is recommended. It is always advisable to test for staining by applying High Obliterating Vinyl Matt to a small area first.
Apply by brush, roller, conventional H.V.L.P or airless spray. Stir well and check colour before use. Do not apply at air or surface temperatures below 8°C. On sealed surfaces apply two to three coats, allowing each coat to dry thoroughly. Do not over spread.
