Bedec Interior-Flex Elastomeric Matt Emulsion is a unique Interior Wall Paint designed to bridge hairline cracks and flex with the substrate where movement causes cracking with conventional matt emulsion. Interior-Flex is an elastomeric matt emulsion paint formulated to coat interior ceilings and walls. Interior-Flex is wipeable, microporous and breathable.

Bedec Interior-Flex Elastomeric Matt Emulsion is best used on interior walls and ceilings to produce a smooth matt finish.

Application

Bedec Interior-Flex Elastomeric Matt Emulsion can be applied using brush and roller to provide a brilliant, decorative finish. Ensure the surfaces to be painted are clean dry and free from dust, dirt grease and wax. Remove all loose and defective paint. Algal and fungal growths should be removed and treated with a fungicidal wash. Untreated render, plaster, brickwork or any porous substrate should be thinned with approximately 30% - 40% fresh clean water.

Where there is a risk of staining (Extractive discolouration) treatment with Bedec Interior Exterior Stain Block is recommended. It is always advisable to test for staining by applying Interior-Flex to a small area first.

Cracks should be repaired as follows:-

1. Large cracks - Cut out and fill with a flexible interior filler.
2. Hair line cracks - Apply Interior-Flex into the cracks and feather out to give a smooth edge. One or two additional coats maybe needed to complete bridging.

After the cracks have been treated, one or two coats of Interior-Flex should then be applied over the complete area.
