Carboline Thermaline 440 Formerly 400 EU Primer is a modified epoxy phenolic, amine adduct cured high performance, immersion grade coating. Provides excellent resistance to wet/dry cycling conditions at elevated temperatures. Cures down to 5°C.

Carboline Thermaline 440 Formerly 400 EU Primer is ideal for protecting steel substrates under thermal insulation. Cures down to 5 degrees.
Used within a system consisting of Carboline Thermaline 440 Topcoat and this primer.

Application
Suitable for application via conventional or airless spray - see data sheet for tip sizes and recommendations. Brush or roller recommended for touch up, striping of weld seams and hard to reach areas only. Apply within 5 - 75°C surface temperature with 0 - 85% relative humidity. Power mix separately, then combine and power mix for a minimum of two minutes.
