Glixtone SQ1 Squash Court Paint is an outstanding solvent based durable matt paint used for painting the play area walls of squash courts and other sports walls.

Recommended by England Squash & Racket Ball, Glixtone Squash Court Paint is a single pack solvent based paint that not only offers a smooth dead matt hard wearing durable finish, but the surface will not impair the speed of the ball, allowing the ball to maintain its speed and direction. SQ1 has been specially formulated for the highest quality resins and binders, allowing the surface of the paint when cured to be repeatedly cleaned without degrading the paint surface. The Technical Data Sheet should be read prior to the application of Glixtone Squash Court Paint due to the coating containing a high solvent level and the VOC level is also quite high, therefore it is recommended that it is applied by a Professional Squash Court refurbishment company.

Glixtone Squash Court Paint with its excellent opacity offers extremely good adhesion to most surfaces included previously painted substrates with a coverage of between 10 to 12 m2 per litre per coat. 2 coats of this non-toxic paint that is formulated with non-aggressive solvents is recommended for the walls of squash courts and other leisure facility areas.

Application of this quick drying coating is by either roller or paint brush. SQ1 is touch dry in 2 to 3 hours and is recoatable after just 5 to 6 hours and is available in 3 different colours, white, blue and yellow though pastel colours are available subject to minimum order quantities.

Application

All surfaces must be properly prepared to ensure that they are dry, clean and free from rubber, oil and grease. Glossy surfaces should be well abraded to improve adhesion. Remove all loose and flaking materials and prime where necessary with the appropriate primer or thinned Squash Court Paint. Apply via brush or roller. Apply two coats of Glixtone Squash Court Paint.
