There are 4 sites located across the UK where Carrs innovative coatings are produced, including the most environmentally friendly, constructed site in the UK, if not Europe, located in Redditch. It’s actually from this particular State of the Art site that chemists have used their enormous wealth of experience in cutting edge technology to produce the Glixtone range of paints.

It’s silky smooth flow rate and opacity will speed it’s application whilst giving the end user the confidence that their property has the best overall protection available. This includes UV Stability, Dirt Resistance, Moisture Vapour Permeability, Salt, Alkali and Acid resistance, whilst being Elastomeric and protecting against Fungal and Algae attack.

Glixtone Fungi-Shield

Glixtone Fungi-Shield has gained a national fan base that stretches from one end of the country to another and local authorities in The Midlands, Devon and Cornwall specifically specify Glixtone Fungi-Shield to be applied to the walls and ceilings of their kitchen and bathrooms in their housing stock. It is highly recommended by members of The National Landlords Association and also The Landlords Referencing web site. Fungi-Shield is a popular product as it is water based and provides a high quality decorative coating that keeps working to prevent mould, algae and fungus growth, which is becoming an increasing problem in the UK. It is available in Satin or Matt and can be tinted to any pastel shade required.
