Centrecoat Anti-Slip Stair Nosing, 55 x 55mm provide a corrosion and slip resistant step edging to stair nosings.

Fibreglass Anti-Slip Stair Nosing, or Stair Capping Profiles are manufactured from corrosion resistant Glass Reinforced Plastic (Fibreglass) and have been designed for easy installation onto existing Concrete, Timber or Steel Steps. A hard-wearing Silicon Carbide Grit is applied to the top surface to provide an effective anti slip finish, which outperforms conventional aluminium or Rubber Stair Nosing in terms of Slip Resistance. Centrecoat Anti Slip Step Edges have been developed as a cost effective long term solution to help meet requirements laid down by the Disability Discrimination Act.

Application

Anti Slip Step Edges can be applied using high performance glue. Anglo Adhesive Mastic is a prime example of the type of glue that should be used when fixing these step edges. Make sure the steps are virtually dry to start with, and all damages should preferably be filled in first. Another alternative to glue is to fix them mechanically using a drill.
