Hempel Pro-Filler 35370

Hempel's Pro-Filler 35370 is a two component, lightweight epoxy filler. Features high adhesion and water resistance. Easy to sand upon curing.

Best Uses

Hempel Pro Filler 35370 is suitable as a filler and fairing compound, and is especially suitable for profiling large areas and detailed fairing where structural strength is important. It can be used on most primed rigid substrates, above and below the waterline in marine environments.

Hempel's Pro Filler 35370 be applied in coats up to 10-12 mm for a uniform, smooth film build.

Application

Remove oil, grease and other contaminants by suitable detergent cleaning. Clean with Hempel's Pre-Clean.

New build:
For uncoated surfaces, sand and remove all dust. Prime with 1 - 2 coats of specified Hempel's Primer.

Maintenance and Repair:
Previously coated surface: Abrade, clean and dry the surface. Sand to smoothen filler.

Immediately before use, mix equal parts of each of the two components until a uniform colour is obtained. Avoid air bubbles in the mixture. Clean up with Hempel's Thinner 08451 and / or Hempel's Degreaser 99611. The product can be applied in a thickness up to 12 mm. Fair the product whilst it is still possible to make finger prints in the filler. Overcoat when dry with 2 coats of recommended Hempel's Primer. Topcoat finishes should not be applied directly on top of the product.
