KEIM Concretal W Grob is a highly filled exterior paint for base and intermediate coats within the Keim Concretal W system.
KEIM Concretal W Grob is ideal for application onto in situ and pre-cast concrete elements and structures, blockwork, lightweight concrete, asbestos cement and cementitious building boards, for filling and closing of hairline cracks and equalising differences in texture. Keim Concretal W Grob is a ready to apply, highly filled mineral based paint with a potassium silicate binder that equalises surfaces and fills hairline cracks.
All loose and flaking paint should be removed using wire brushes and broad bladed scrapers to get back to a sound edge. When all surfaces are clean, sound, wind dry, dust free and free from all surface contaminants, decoration using Keim Mineral Paints may proceed.
Keim Concretal W Grob should be diluted with 20% by weight Keim Concretal Dilution and applied by brush or roller, working well into all surfaces. After a minimum period of 12 hours a final coat of Keim Concretal W in the chosen colour may be applied undiluted.
