Teamac P224/2 Aluminium Wood Primer used as a Boat Hull Primer will protect the hull of the boat above and below the water line before being coating with a choice of topcoats or anti fouling.
Teamac P224/2 Aluminium wood Primer is a high quality boat hull primer that resists resin staining and blistering. Teamac P224/2 Aluminium wood Primer produces a semi matt grey finish when dry. Teamac P224/2 Aluminium wood Primer has a coverage rate of 9m2 per litre and is available in 1 litre and 2.5 litre tins suitable for the renovation of your marine boat.
Best Uses
Coo-Var Aluminium Wood Primer is an oil based primer that contains aluminium. Used primarily to prevent staining on knotted or resinous timber, but also acts as an excellent heavy duty primer. Coo-Var Aluminium Wood Primer is suitable for all timbers, especially high resinous types. Resists resin staining and blistering of topcoats.
Application
All surfaces should be clean, dry, sound and free from contaminants. New wood should be sanded prior to coating to ensure an adequate "key" is produced. Mix well before use. As dictated by normal good painting practice. In confined spaces, provide adequate ventilation during application and drying. Apply Coo-Var Aluminium Wood Primer direct to wood. Most conventional, white spirit based top coats.

Teamac P224 Aluminium wood Primer is suitable for use on all kinds of different boat hulls including wooden, metal and fibreglass and works well at providing a protective first coat that resists water and chemical attacks.
