Remmers Color SA Plus is a high quality, interior wall paint with micro-silver as a film preservative against infestation with mould. It is formulated on a pure acrylate base, has good hiding power and produces a uniformly matt surface.

Best Uses

Remmer Color SA Plus is a high quality interior coating that is used in rooms that are at risk for mould or are already infested, e.g. in living rooms and bedrooms, schools, kindergartens, offices, storage rooms, hotels, restaurants, wellness areas, swimming pools and also areas for people sensitive to mould (children, people with allergies).


The substrate must be load-bearing, free of infestation with mould, soil such as dust, release agents and residue from grease and oil. Superficial mould infestation
must be completely removed with a special cleaner, e.g. Remmers Mildew Stop. Cracks, holes as well as damaged, hollow areas of render should be repaired with one of the Remmers renders or, in the case of gypsum renders, repaired with a filler. Highly alkaline substrates (fresh render) as well as gypsum plasterboard and fibre cement sheets as well as sanding substrates should be pre-treated with Remmers Deep Primer W. Structural defects such as heat bridges must be remedied. The formation of condensation must be prevented. Thoroughly wash off old distemper and lime paints; remove old coatings that do not adhere well. Color SA plus can be directly applied to sound, load-bearing substrates as well as old, tightly adhering dispersion bound coatings.

For the first coat, Color SA plus can be diluted with water up to a max. of 5%. The degree of thinning depends on the absorbency of the substrate. The second or final coat should be applied undiluted. The paint can be applied with a roller or brush. Do not use at temperatures below 8 °C (substrate and ambient temperature). A waiting time of 12 hours (at 20 °C and 65% relative humidity) should be observed between the individual working operations.
