Product Description

Remmers Epoxy HB Color is a 2 pack heavy duty floor paint for garages, workshops and warehouses that is easily apply by roller in 2 coats without a primer. FeRFA Type 3 System.

Best Uses

Remmers Epoxy HB Color is ideal for use within a system to be applied in areas such as workshops, car park inter decks, clean rooms, laboratories, warehouses, aircraft hangers, production halls, plant rooms, data centres and superstores.

Remmers Epoxy HB Color can be subjected to mechanical loads and chemical loads. Physiologically harmless once fully cured.

Remmers Epoxy HB Color can be applied directly on to tampered concrete floors in just 2 coats without the use of a primer.


  1. Surface preparation by suitable mechanical means such as diamond grinding or captive shot blasting. Remmers Epoxy HB Color can be applied directly on to tampered concrete floors in just 2 coats without the use of a primer. FeRFA Type 3 System.
  2. On damp substrates, Apply 1-2 coats of Remmers Epoxy MT100, no. of coats is dependant on the moisture level within the substrate.
  3. Application of 2 top coats Remmers Epoxy HB Color by squeegee and roller.

The substrate must be firm, dimensionally stable, capable of bearing loads and free of loose constituents, dust, oil, grease, rubber marks and other substances that could interfere with adhesion. The tensile strength of the surface of the substrate must be at least 1.5 N/mm2 on average (smallest individual value of at least 1.0 N/mm2), and the compressive strength must be at least 25 N/mm2.

Prepare the substrate by suitable means, e.g. steel ball jetting or diamond grinding, so that it meets the requirements specified above. Broken out or missing areas in the substrate should be filled flush with the surface using Remmers PCC systems or Remmers EP mortars.

Add the entire quantity of the hardener (component B) to the base compound (component A). Mix thoroughly with a slow-speed electric mixer (approx. 300 - 400 rpm).
Pour the mixture into a separate container and mix again thoroughly. Mix for at least 3 minutes.

Pour the material onto the prepared surface, spread evenly using a rubber scraper, then roll crossways using a suitable epoxy roller. Two layers of application are necessary.

Cleaner / Thinner: Clean tools, equipment and splashed material immediately while fresh with Remmers V 101 Thinner.
Shelf Life: If stored unopened in the original container and kept cool, dry and protected from frost, min. 12 months (component A)/min. 24 months (component B).
