The Tikkurila Optiva Paint range is suitable for new and previously painted walls and ceilings in new construction, schools, offices, hotels and residential properties.

Best Uses
Tikkurila Optiva is ideal for the painting of gypsum boards, gypsum, cement-lime plasters, decorative painting of concrete substrates used as internal walls. It is also suitable for renovation of old coatings. To be used on small wood and metal surfaces, before application surface should be primed with suitable primer (Tikkurila Everal Primer, Tikkurila Everal Corrostop, or Tikkurila Rostex Super Akva depending on circumstance).
Tikkurila Optiva provides an outstanding durable finish, with exceptional hiding power and high resistance to dirt, dust and stains. Provides the highest wash and wet scrub resistance (class 1, PN-EN 13300) => stands up to repeat washing.
Available in three finishes:
- Tikkurila Optiva 5 - Matt finish (6-10% Sheen Level)
- Tikkurila Optiva 7 - Satin-Matt finish (6-10% Sheen Level)
- Tikkurila Optiva 20 - Semi-Matt finish (11-35% Sheen Level)
Application
Ensure all surfaces are cleaned and fully prepared as per data sheet instructions prior to application. Depending on substrate porosity apply 2 coats of Tikkurila Optiva via brush, roller or spray. For colours of particularly weak hiding power it may be necessary to apply additional coats. It is recommended to use a prime coat of Tikkurila Optiva Primer tinted to a colour close to the colour of finishing paint.
