Tikkurila Rostex Super Akva is a water-based, quick-drying anti-corrosion primer for interior and exterior use.
Approved for use on London Underground (LUL Approval No.2447) - Tikkurila Luja Finishing Paintfor metal surfaces primed with Rostex Super Akva. For general use in stations, surface and below ground, and in depots.
Best Uses
Tikkurila Rostex Super Akva is ideal for use on metal-sheet roofs, cladding, water channels, and many other interior or exterior metal structures. Tikkurila Rostex Super Akva can only be used as a primer for water-based paints.
Tikkurila Rostex Super Akva is suitable for zinc-coated steel and roughened aluminium surfaces, copper, brass and stainless steel.
Application
Ensure the surface to be painted has been thoroughly cleaned and prepped prior to application (more information can be found on the product data sheet). Always avoid painting in hot sunlight, as the paint will dry too quickly and will not stabilize enough. Stir the paint well before use. Apply via brush or airless spray.
Tikkurila Rostex Super Akva can be applied onto bare metal surfaces. If applying a topcoat, use one of the Tikkurila water based topcoat products such as Tikkurila Luja for interior rooms.
