Tikkurila Solid WB-L

Tikkurila Solid WB-L is an easy to use, water based product, for use on interior concrete and wooden floors. With it's semi-gloss finish it will not yellow and is dust dry after approximately 15 minutes (depending on temperature).

Best Uses

Solid WB-L is ideal for use on interior wooden floors and stairs which are subjected to light mechanical stress or light foot traffic. It is suitable for use on both treated or untreated floors. Solid WB-L is also suitable for use on concrete floors in humid spaces, such as saunas, however concrete floors should be primed with Solid WB-L primer first. This paint can be used in residential, commercial and storage premises.

Application

When using on new concrete you must ensure that the surface is at least 4 weeks old before applying Tikkurila Solid WB-L. Ensure that the surface to be painted is thoroughly cleaned with any dust grease or oil removed. If the floor has been previously painted, we suggest washing with Maalipesu Cleaning Agent prior to application. 

Always stir the paint well before use.

For application on concrete floors:
New concrete floors will need to be primed with a single coat of Solid WB-L Primer OR Solid WB-L thinned 10% with water. Finish new and previously painted concrete floors with 2–3 coats of unthinned Solid WB-L. 

For application on wooden floors:
Bare wood surfaces should be primed with 1–2 coats of Multistop insulation primer. For the best insulation results, perform the treatment twice. Multistop prevents discolouring of wood extracts and knots which might appear, especially on light coloured surfaces. Finish with 2–3 coats of unthinned Solid WB-L.
