Product Description

Britannia Durashield FD Primer is a fast drying primer for use prior to application of Durashield topcoat. This easy to use product comes in a single pack with no mixing required.

Best Uses

Durashield FD Primer is used to stabilise highly friable/porous surfaces prior to applying Durashield Topcoat. The primer can be used on Concrete, Asbestos Cladding, Sheeting And Guttering, OSB/Plywood and Wooden Substrates.

Application

The recommended method of application is by brush, roller or spray. As always, ensure that the area to be painted is clean and free from plant materials and debris etc. If required, the surface can be cleaned with a fungicidal wash.

Repair any splits or cracks with a high quality waterproof mastic/filler. Apply Durashield FD Primer followed by Durashield Waterproofing System to the repaired areas incorporating Britannia Reinforcing Scrim overlapping by 5cm.

Please note that Britannia Durashield FD Primer can not be used as a topcoat.
