Britannia Durashield is a ready to use, longer lasting, rubber based waterproofing system for use on almost any wall or roof substrate. Just one coat protects for up to 10 years!

Best Uses

Britannia Durashield is a flexible elastomeric flat roof system, with excellent adhesion to almost any wall or roof substrate. Supplied ready to use, Britannia Durashield and can be applied to the following substrates:

Flat Roofs
Weathered Asphalt
Bituminous Surfaces
Concrete
Brickwork
Fibreglass and GRP,
Weathered Ply
OSB/Plywood
Wooden Substrates
EPDM

Application

As with all paints, the surface to be painted should be cleaned and dried prior to application. A Fungicidal Wash should be used to prevent any further fungal/algal growth.

The recommended method of application is by either brush or solvent resistant roller. Stir the product thoroughly. Durashield is supplied ready to use and does not need to be thinned.

Apply a generous coat of Britannia Durashield Waterproof Roof Coating by brush or roller (solvent resistant), at the minimum specified spreading rate. Full application instructions for various substrates can be found on the product data sheet.

Note: Do not use on new bituminous primers/coatings or surfaces.
