Centrecoat 2 Pack Epoxy Floor Coating is a hard wearing, high performance floor paint which has excellent resistance to chemicals including grease, oil, alkalis and battery acid.

Best Uses

Centrecoat 2 Pack Epoxy Floor Coating is ideal for use on untreated concrete floors. It is suitable for areas of medium to high traffic.

Untreated porous floors that are left unprotected are likely to become stained and ingrained with dirt, grease and oils etc. Centrecoat 2 pack floor coating will seal the floor, reducing wear and leaving the floor stain resistant and more hygienic.

Application

The recommended method of application is by brush or roller. Centrecoat 2 pack Epoxy Floor Coating is not suitable for airless or air assisted spray.

Concrete should be clean, dry and free from dust, dirt, grease and other contaminates etc. All surfaces to be coated should be dry, and the concrete should have a moisture content below 6%.

Power-Floated floors should be abraded to provide a key for the coating.

Always ensure that previously painted floors have been suitably pretreated prior to application. Remove any old paint, especially that with suspect adhesion or of an unknown type. It is possible that some paints may still lift, be softened, or cause poor inter-coat adhesion when this system is applied on top of them. Therefore, it is always advisable to check for suitability and defects by undertaking small-scale trials prior to full application. If the old paint is satisfactory, clean and abrade the surface in the normal way.

You should allow 7–10 days before exposing the area to chemicals, pollutants and mechanical stress. Heavy vehicle traffic should be avoided for at least 7 Days.
