Centrecoat Power Floated Concrete Protector penetrates deep into the pores of cementitious substrates, completely lining the pores and forming a thin, glossy film barrier on the surface. Once cured, cleaning fluids and waste are unable to penetrate the surface, thus delivering a highly effective stain protection. Stains that have been left for lengthy periods can be easily removed, as they will have remained on the surface rather than soaking into the substrate.
Centrecoat Power Floated Concrete Protector is formulated as a high solids, alpha-silane-terminated polyether base with added alpha-silane. Centrecoat Power Floated Concrete Protector chemically provides a cross linking moisture curing chemical structure. It has been optimised to achieve low viscosity together with a high solids content.
This concrete floor protector is ideal for use in warehouses where liquids such as oil can stain concrete, brewery floors, dairies, storage areas and more.
Ensure the surface is thoroughly cleaned and free of any dust. The substrate must be completely dry at the surface prior to application. Always test on a small hidden portion of the substrate. Stir well before use. Apply the product to a clean and dry surface. Use either a roller (not foam as this can cause bubbles) or pressure sprayer. Ensure an even and generous application is made.
Allow 24 hours before a second coating is applied. After application, keep vehicles and foot traffic off the floor until completely cured. Clean tools and equipment immediately after use with mineral spirits.
Any ongoing maintenance should be regular cleaning of stains and markings. Centrecoat Power Floated Concrete Protector is a very durable product, but as with any other external product, it will require re-application from time to time.
