Product Description
Hempel Profair 35290 is a light-weight epoxy filler for yachts, that has good adhesion and water resistance. It is ideal for detailed fairing where structural strength and flexibility is required.
Best Uses
Hempel's Profair is suitable for both interior and exterior use, both above and below the waterline. It can be used on substrates including glass fibre, hardwood and steel.
Application
Always ensure any oil, grease or other contaminants are removed with a suitable detergent before application of Profair.
When applying to a new build:
- Uncoated surface: Sand and remove all dust.
- Prime with 1-2 coats of specified Hempel's Primer.
For Maintenance and Repair:
- Previously coated surfaces should be Abraded, cleaned and dried.
Hempel Profair can be applied in a thickness up to 25mm. Once dried, it can be overcoated with 2 coats of recommended Hempel primer. Please note that topcoat finishes should not be applied directly on top of Profair 35290.
