Jotun Pilot WF SM is a single pack, water borne acrylic emulsion topcoat for use over Jotun intumescent systems.
Best Uses
Jotun Pilot WF SM is a versatile, fast drying product for interior use. It provides a semi-gloss finish with good colour and gloss retention and dries down to 10°C. Ideal for new construction or maintenance where fast dry to handle and over coating times are required. Jotun Pilot WF SM is suitable for use as topcoat in atmospheric environments. Part of a complete water borne system with a recommended Jotun water borne primer and SteelMaster WF products.
Developed mainly for use on intumescent products (SteelMaster). Should be applied on-site and is best suited for indoor environment.
This product is tintable in a wide range of colours. Provides dry atmospheric heat resistance continuously at 70°C. Able to withstand a peak of 80°C.
Depending on the actual exposure of the coating system, various acrylic and epoxy primers and topcoats can be used in combination with this product.

Application
Suitable for application over coated surfaces in a Jotun system. Ensure the substrate is clean, dry and undamaged compatible
coating. Apply via airless spray. Brush is recommended for stripe coating and small areas, care must be taken to achieve the
specified dry film thickness. If applying by roller use a suitable roller. However, when using roller application care must be taken to apply sufficient material in order to achieve the specified dry film thickness.
The product MUST NOT be thinned. Refer to the Application Guide before commencing preparation / coating.
