Jotun Tankguard HB is Suitable for properly prepared carbon steel, galvanised steel, stainless steel and concrete substrates. Designed as an internal tank coating for chemical tanks. This coating has good resistance to a wide range of products. Can be used as a coating for grey water, drilling mud, brine and crude oil tanks. Also recommended as a protective coating for the internal lining for offshore, onshore and buried tanks and pipes.
To secure lasting adhesion to the subsequent product all surfaces shall be clean, dry and free from any contamination. Optimum performance, including adhesion, corrosion protection, heat resistance and chemical resistance is achieved with recommended surface preparation.
Prepare as per data sheet. Apply using airless spray. Use a brush for stripe coating. Use a roller for scallops, ratholes, small pipes etc.
