KEIM Concretal FSP 0.2 Formerly Keim Fine Finishing Mortar

KEIM Concretal FSP 0.2 is a cementitious repair mortar manufactured using fine grained sand, enabling application of very smooth finishes.

Best Uses

KEIM Concretal FSP 0.2 is suitable for the restoration of spalling and decayed concrete or rendered surfaces that have been grit blasted. Finished, hardened KEIM Concretal-FSP 0.2 is waterproof and resistant to both weather erosion and frost. Suitable for the renovation and repair of concrete surfaces, concrete blocks and rendered surfaces.

KEIM Concretal FSP 0.2 can be applied in 1mm to max. 5mm layer thickness. KEIM Concretal-FSP 0.2 can be as a stand-alone product or as part of the KEIM Concrete Repair System.

Application

The substrate must be clean, dry and free from all contaminants e.g. release oils, dirt etc. Remove all loose materials, power-wash surfaces and prepare any exposed steelwork in accordance with normal concrete reparation standards.

Mix one 25kg bag of Keim Concretal FSP 0.2 with 7.25lt of clean water for at least 4 minutes using a mechanical mixer until the mix is the consistency of moist earth. Materials can then be applied by trowel onto a pre-wetted surface and struck off to the required finish. May be applied in thicknesses from 1 to 5mm.

Setting time is 1 day per 1mm layer thickness. Can be over coated with KEIM Mineral Paints.
