Tikkurila Luja Universal Primer
Tikkurila Luja Universal Primer is the primer for Tikkurila's Luja hygiene system for internal walls and ceilings. Forms a tight moisture resistant primer film and provides a solid base for subsequent finishing coats of Tikkurila Luja 7 / 20 / 40.
Tikkurila Luja Universal primer has London Approval (LUL Registered No.2447) for use in sub-surface areas.
Best Uses
Tikkurila Luja Universal Primer is ideal for use on interior walls and ceilings in humid and wet environments. It is suitable for new and old surfaces, including plaster, dry lining board, previously painted alkyd coatings, timber, wood fiber board, blockwork and concrete. This primer is well suited to kitchens, bathrooms, hospitals, swimming pools, and areas of high traffic, etc.
Application
Wash down any previously painted surfaces with a suitable cleaning agent and rinse carefully with water. Fill any holes and cracks with a suitable Tikkurila Presto Filler and sand the dried surface. Remove all sanding dust. Stir Tikkurila Luja Universal Primer well before use and thin with water, if required. Apply via brush, roller or spray. Finish the surface with Tikkurila Luja Finishing Paint.
