Hardwax Oil is not only suitable for commercial flooring but residential flooring also. This product has been endorsed by people such as David Snell the author of Building & Renovating Magazine, as well as being recognised by the English Heritage. Treatex is widely used for other applications such as doors, door frames, window sills, banisters, stairs and kitchen cabinets, offering major benefits over varnish. Benefits include allowing the timber to breathe reducing warping and swelling. Treatex are not only known for their Hardwax Oil for floors, but also for products such as Bangkirai Decking Oil and UV Resistant Oil. Both suitable for exterior applications such as decking and garden furniture etc. Bangkirai Decking Oil has been developed from natural oils and offers excellent resistance to abrasion as well as being highly water-repellent.

Bangkirai Decking Oil offers a high degree of UV protection reducing the natural greying of the wood. It also contains no toxic substances all of this means longer lasting weather protection, allowing the timber to retain it's natural beauty for longer. Bangkirai Decking Oil is suitable for use in all areas of the garden including decking, garden furniture and fencing. Bangkirai Decking Oil is suited to bangkirai, iroko, mahogany, meranti, nyatoh, robble, jarrah, belinga, Douglas fir and robinia, but is not suitable for oak. Application of Bangkirai Decking Oil is extremely simple, just apply 2-3 coats to a clean substrate. Coverage is excellent at 20m2 per litre, it can be applied over previously treated surfaces and Bangkirai Decking Oil will penetrate new timber easier after the wood has weathered for a few months. Treatex UV Resistant Oil offers a slip resistant finish, with pigments to block the harmful UV rays from the sun protecting the wood for longer. This eco friendly, solvent free, water based oil will prevent the growth of algae and moss. It is also suitable for not only wooden decking but is ideally suited to garden furniture and boat decks, being especially suited to application to red cedar, teak, and other exotic timbers.
