Blackfriar Metallic Paint can be used to decorate a wide range of items and substrates to produce a metallic finish that will not go unnoticed. Blackfriar's Metallic Paint is ideal for use on ornamental plasterwork, picture frames, decorations, theatre props, furniture, radiators and textured wall finishes.
Ensure the surface to be coated is clean, dry, sound and free from wax, grease or any other contamination. Previously painted surfaces in sound condition should be abraded and degreased prior to application of Blackfriar Metallic Paint. Bare or new surfaces should be primed with the appropriate Blackfriar Primer.
Stir thoroughly prior to use with a broad stirrer. The product may be applied by using a soft brush, short pile roller or spray. Apply the paint as evenly as possible to maintain an overall consistent finish. Like all metallic paints, the most uniform finish is achieved by spraying. Application marks can be left in the film when brushing and rollering. Do not overwork the wet paint film when brushing or rollering.
