Owatrol Renoclear Bleaching Agent

Owatrol Renoclear is a bleaching agent for brightening and restoring discoloured exterior wood.

Best Uses

Owatrol Renoclear is formulated to produce even appearance on discoloured or dark patched wood that is marked due to natural ageing or surrounding pollution. Suitable to produce a uniform appearance on exterior wood due to sap staining and more, including lightening the staining due to Blue Stain Fungi.

Owatrol Renoclear is suitable for exterior wood only. Suitable for all wood species including soft and hardwoods as well as exotic woods. Also suitable for use on modified Woods such as Accoya, thermo treated woods and bamboo.

This bleaching agent for wood is ideal for use on exterior decking, cladding, garden furniture and any other external wood suffering from discolouration.

Application

Cover and protect everything you do not wish to treat paying particular attention to any metal work (coated or uncoated), aluminium, painted surfaces, plants, shrubs, lawn etc.

Depending on the condition of the surface, initially prepare in the normal manner ie. Owatrol Net-Trol, Owatrol Aquanett and Net-trol, Owatrol Prepdeck and Net-Trol, Owatrol Dilunett and Net-Trol or Owatrol DSP 800.
After completing the initial preparation process allow wood to fully dry (Min 24 hours). Follow guidance as per data sheet. Use as is. Do not dilute.

Ensure the prepared surface is fully dry. Apply an even application of Owatrol Renoclear. If applying by garden sprayer use a plastic spray nozzle and brush or roll over after application to aid penetration. Allow Owatrol Renoclear to work 6 to 24 hours depending on the severity of the staining. DO NOT rinse or wet the surface prior to the next step.
Apply Owatrol Soapclean diluted 1:4. Scrub the surface with a deck brush and leave to work 5 minutes. Rinse with plenty of fresh, clean water. Allow the wood to dry, 2 to 3 good drying days or until it has reached a moisture content of 18% or less before applying the finish.

Note:- For difficult stains it may be necessary to repeat the procedure. The final result of Owatrol Renoclear will not be seen until the surface is fully dry.
