PPG Dimetcote Steel Primer 210 is a two pack corrosion resistant metal primer formulated as a weldable pre-construction primer or field or shop applied primer.
Best Uses
PPG Dimetcote Steel Primer 210 is suitable for use as a weldable pre-construction primer, or field or shop applied primer. Benefiting from excellent corrosion resistance, PPG Dimetcote SP210 permits almost immediate handling, welding, cutting and fabricating.
Provides excellent thermal stability minimizes heat damage during hot work procedures. Suitable for automatic and manual application.
Application
Prepare steel substrate to SA2.5. Apply using airless spray or air assisted spray as per the data sheet recommendations. Suitable for overcoating with itself or various PPG two pack epoxy coatings.
Clean up with PPG Thinner 90-53 or Thinner 90-58.
