Clear is a colourless wax that won't affect the colour it is applied over, while Dark is a brown coloured, antiquing wax polish that gives the Rust-Oleum Chalky Finish Furniture Paint it is applied over a distressed, aged finish.
Clear wax is best suited to light colours and dark wax is best for dark colours. To create an aged/antique look, apply the Dark wax with a brush, working it into corners and details.
Rust-Oleum Furniture Finishing Wax is easy to apply by brush or rag and dries with a soft, velvety sheen. The wax finish ensures the paint finish is water-repellent and seals against stains and marks. Rust-Oleum Furniture Finishing Wax is available in three finishes; 'Clear', 'Dark' and 'White'.
