Rustoleum Ultra Scrubbable Matt is a multi-purpose matt wall and ceiling paint. Particularly suitable for painting walls and ceilings in large-scale new construction and renovation projects.

Rustoleum Ultra Scrubbable Matt is suitable surfaces include: existing coats of wall paint, cement and plasterwork, concrete, brick, gypsum panelling, board, etc. Also suitable for painting glass fibre fabric.

Application
The surface must be capable of supporting the paint, completely set, clean, dry, and free from dust or grease. Sand and repair surface irregularities. Remove and/or repair all loose and unstable coats. In the case of exterior applications, remove all moss, mould and algal growth.
For new, untreated substrates
- Prime highly absorbent surfaces in their entirety using Stabilising primer.
- Thoroughly clean powdery surfaces. Prime using Stabilising primer after allowing to dry.
- Paint to cover after allowing to dry.
For existing intact coats of wall paint
- Clean using paint cleaner.
- Apply an intermediate coat of Wall Primer Opaque if necessary.
- Apply the top coat after allowing to dry.
For existing, non-load-bearing coats of wall paint
- Remove loose parts.
- Thoroughly wash powdery coats and allow them to dry.
- Carry out any repairs.
- Prime with Stabilising primer.
- Apply the top coat after allowing to dry.
For areas with contamination caused by nicotine, damp, rust or soot
- Clean thoroughly using Paint cleaner.
- Treat surface/stain with sealing primer.
- Apply the top coat after allowing to dry.

Stir thoroughly prior to use. The first coat can be diluted with a maximum of 10% water. Apply in 1 or 2 coats using a suitable brush, paint roller or paint sprayer. Always work wet-on-wet to prevent visible brush strokes. Back-roll all overlaps in the same direction. Do not touch up when drying.
