Selemix 4-050x PUR 2 Pack Primer

Selemix 2.705.050X PUR Primer is a 2 pack primer with both excellent adhesion and protection properties for steel in the harshest of environments up to C5M-low rated.

Please note, the Hardener is not included with this product. Compatible Hardeners are Selemix 9-060, 9-065 & 9-070.

Selemix 2.705.050X PUR primer is formulated with polyurethane when used with the applicable topcoat as part of a Selemix ISO paint system it will provide an extremely high quality finish, it also has excellent adhesion and anti-corrosive properties so will provide high level of protection in the most harsh of environments up to C5-m Low.

Selemix 2.705.050X can be applied in a high build wet on wet paint system making significant savings on labour, downtime and costs. With correct surface preparation the 2.705.050X will adhere to and protect substrates such as aluminium, mild steel, galvanised steel, light alloys, black steel, agricultural equipment, trailers, tractors, harvesters, plant equipment, excavators, diggers, earth movers, dumpers, screed pumps, workshop equipment, cars, trucks, machine tools, lathes, milling machines, drill presses, steel shelving, bike frames, motorcycles, steel doors, roller shutters plus many more.

Best Uses

Selemix is best used as a primer coat as part of a Selemix ISO paint system when a high quality paint finish and high level of protection is required, the most compatible topcoats are Selemix 7-512 2k PU, 7-110 2k Acrylic Topcoat & 7-120 2k Acrylic UHS Topcoat.

Application

Selemix 2.705.050X PUR Primer can be applied by both airless and conventional spray equipment, when applied at 50 micron dry film thickness the paint has a theoretical coverage rate of 4.5-5.5m2 per litre. Being a 2 pack paint the 2.705.050X will need to be combined with Selemix Hardeners 9-060 or 9-070 at a general ratio of 4 to 1, it will also require thinning with Selemix Thinners 1-430 prior to use, always consult the technical data sheet for applicable mix ratio prior to use.
