Selemix 6-810 is a water based cleaner and degreaser formulated to remove grease, oil and containments from substrates before the application of Selemix water and solvent based paints.
Being water based makes 6-810 low VOC which is safer for both the environment and applicators. 6-810 is perfect for cleaning items such as bare steel, mild steel, stainless steel, previously coated steel, zinc sprayed steel, galvanised steel, light alloys, aluminium, blast cleaned steel, plus many more.
Selemix is best used to clean substrates before the application of Selemix paints both solvent and water based. 6-810 is perfect for cleaning mild steel, bare steel, blast cleaned steel, previously coated steel, stainless steel, ferrous steel, previously coated steel, galvanised steel, zinc sprayed steel, old finishes, aluminium, anodised aluminium, hard anodised aluminium plus many more.
To use Selemix 6-810 apply to the surface using a lint free cloth, then using another clean lint free cloth remove any residue from the surface and allow to dry before applying any paint.
If applying 6-810 via sprayer or brush it is advised that rubber or PVC gloves and suitable eye protection is worn.
