Selemix 7-810 Fast Dry Primer is a single pack industrial undercoat which is easy to use and cost effective for light industrial and commercial applications. It has good filling properties and provides protection for ferrous substrates. Selemix 7-810 is suitable for use with a single pack topcoat such as Selemix 7-610 and 7-611 to give a durable, quality finish.
As the name suggests, Selemix 7-810 Fast Dry Primer dries quickly and is touch dry in 10-15 minutes and can be over-coated after 1 hour (at 20°C), meaning time can be saved on application reducing costs of labour and downtime.
Selemix 7-810 can be used as primer to provide protection on bare steel or phosphate steel, airport ground support equipment, electrical generator cabins and general engineering equipment, light industrial equipment, agricultural and construction equipment such as excavators, earthmovers, screed pumps, dumpers, tractor, harvesters, general engineering equipment, and airport ground support equipment, cars, truck, workshop machines, garage doors, garden furniture plus many more.
Prepare the surface by lightly abrading and thoroughly degreasing the substrate, Selemix 7-810 Fast Dry Primer can then be applied via both airless and conventional spray equipment, for best results 2 coats are recommended.
The Selemix single pack top coats that are recommended for use with Selemix 7-810 are 7-310 Cellulose Topcoat, Selemix 7-610 Fast Dry Synthetic Topcoat, 7-611 Fast Dry Synthetic Matt Topcoat, 7-649 Fast Dry Synthetic Extra Topcoat.
