For painting over ABS, PVC and PU: Perform a light scuffing with a scotchbrite pad. Degrease the surface with a suitable plastics degreaser to remove moulding oils and waxes prior painting. Before testing, it is important to test on a small hidden area as plastics can differ adhesion quality.

Application

All substrates will need to be suitable abraded and degreased before application of 8-111, for optimum results and performance it is recommended 2 coats are applied.

Selemix 8-111 can be applied by both conventional and air assisted / airless spray equipment, when applied at a 70 micron dry film thickness has theoretical coverage of 5.2-6.4m2 per litre.
As Selemix 8-111 is a 2 pack paint it will need to be combined with Selemix Hardener 9-110 at a general ratio of 2.5 to 1, it will then need to thinned with clean water at general ratio of between 5-20% volume. Always consult the technical datasheet prior to use for the applicable ratio.
