Sika SikaRepair EP is a thixotropic, 2-component repair mortar, based on a combination of epoxy resins with refined quartz fillers.
Sika SikaRepair EP is a repair mortar for a variety of applications including repair mortar for concrete, cement mortar and stone, filling holes and damaged corners, edges and joint sides in concrete, rigid interpretation of broad, non -moving joints, filling and sealing of cracks (no movement).
Sika SikaRepair EP is also excellent for manufacturing skirting, coving or sanitary baseboards for floor / wall connections.
- Fast cure
- Suitable for dry and damp concrete surfaces
- Non-shrink curing
- Curing is not hindered by high humidity
- Excellent adhesion to concrete
- High mechanical resistance
- Resistant to impact and abrasion
- Thixotropic , non-sagging . Application vertical and overhead possible
- Different coloured components ( for mixing control)
The substrate must be sound and of sufficient compressive strength (minimum 25 N / mm²), with a minimum bond strength of 1.5 N / mm². The surface should be clean, dry and free of dirt, oil, grease and other impurities. Concrete must be at least 4 weeks old.
Concrete, mortar, stone, bricks:
The substrate must be sound , dry, clean and free from dirt, ice, standing water, grease , oils, old surface treatments or coatings and all loose or friable particles
must be removed to an open textured and fine adhesive surface to obtain, free of laitance and curing compound etc.
Mix parts A and B at least 3 minutes with a mixing paddle in a slow speed electric drill (max 400 rpm) until a smooth homogeneous material forms in a uniform grey colour.
To the substrate surface, apply a bonding / priming layer of Sikafloor 156, the fresh Sika Repair EP mortar should be applied to the still tacky primer. On ceilings, apply in successive layers of up to 10 mm. On vertical surfaces applied in layers up to 25 mm without form work. Maximum horizontal layer thickness : 60mm.

The manufacturers data sheets are available for download from this website. It is your responsibility to read and understand all aspects of the data sheets before you place an order and prior to application. Please pay special attention to the preparation, mixing and application temperatures of the product, cleaning of substrate and environmental factors such as temperature, rain etc. Quoted coverage rates are based on the manufacturers theoretical rates and may vary depending upon substrates absorption, texture and application. We always recommend a test is carried out to ensure suitability.
Customer further agrees that Promain have no liability for any errors or omissions contained within the Product Data Sheets and are not liable for failure due to misapplication or inadequate substrate cleaning and preparation. For more information please refer to our Terms & Conditions.
