Teamac Hull Blacking
Teamac Hull Blacking is a high quality, bitumen based coating for boat hulls. It forms a waterproof, weatherproof, corrosion resistant coating and can withstand prolonged oxidisation.
Best Uses
Teamac Hull Blacking can be used as an economical coat on coat protective coating. It is suitable for use on narrow boats, cruisers and any inland waterway vessel. It can be applied to suitably prepared wood, steel, asphalt, concrete and cast iron. This product can be used without a Primer/Undercoat, but it can only be over-coated with another bitumen based product.

Application
Prior to application all surfaces should be clean, dry, sound and free from contaminants. New wood will need to be sanded prior to coating to ensure an adequate "key" is produced. Remove all loose, flaking material and treat bare areas as new substrate and then prepare accordingly.
Application method is by brush or roller.
Note: This product can only be over-coated with another bitumen based product.
