Teamac Micaceous Iron Oxide (MIO) is a high build anti-corrosive protection designed to provide protection to metal surfaces, especially steel. Teamac Micaceous Iron Oxide (MIO) is a metal primer that protects the surface against rusting, corrosion, water and various different chemicals.
Teamac Micaceous Iron Oxide (MIO) can be used in industrial and construction exposures where protection is needed to prevent metal surfaces from ageing quickly. Use Teamac Micaceous Iron Oxide (MIO) Metal Primer on steel and galvanised steel structures, including fences, galvanised ducts/cladding, street furniture and street lighting columns.
Teamac Micaceous Iron Oxide (MIO) can be applied using brush or roller to provide surfaces with a high quality finish. Teamac Micaceous Iron Oxide has an approximate coverage rate of 7m2 per litre, depending on the porosity of the substrate, and comes in 5 litre containers.
Teamac Micaceous Iron Oxide (MIO) is designed for use in a variety of different internal and external exposures on most metal substrates, including steel, iron, aluminium, zinc and copper.

The manufacturers data sheets are available for download from this website. It is your responsibility to read and understand all aspects of the data sheets before you place an order and prior to application. Please pay special attention to the preparation, mixing and application temperatures of the product, cleaning of substrate and environmental factors such as temperature, rain etc. Quoted coverage rates are based on the manufacturers theoretical rates and may vary depending upon substrates absorption, texture and application. We always recommend a test is carried out to ensure suitability.
Customer further agrees that Promain have no liability for any errors or omissions contained within the Product Data Sheets and are not liable for failure due to misapplication or inadequate substrate cleaning and preparation. For more information please refer to our Terms & Conditions.
