Tensid Tavec 201 stripper can be used for most paint types and works by stripping multiple layers of paint. Environmentally friendly as non chemical paint waste and benefits from being biodegradable.
This paint stripper is suitable for use on marble, travertine, limestone, granite, sandstone, slate, fired clays such as brick, tile, terracotta and pavers, concrete, wood and glass.
Protect surrounding surfaces and beware of wind drift. Apply with a chemical resistant brush or airless spray equipment (Pressure - 2000 psi, Nozzle - 0.021 - 0.031 and spray tip - 65 - 80 degree). Always test each type of surface to ensure suitability and desired results. Apply test area according to the following application procedures.
Apply a uniform coating of Tensid Tavec 201 so the paint is no longer visible to a dry surface. The most effective method is by airless sprayer, however a brush can be used. Allow the stripper to remain on the surface for 30 minutes – 24 hours. On multiple layers it may be necessary to remove the lifted layers and re-apply the product. Do not allow the product to dry on the surface. Pressure rinse with water. Hot water may improve the efficiency of stripping. Alternatively, remove dissolved paint with a spatula and rinse the area thoroughly with clean water.
Re-application may be necessary, but ensure the surface is dry prior to application of the stripper. Do not allow product to come into contact with rubber or plastic. Wear suitable PPE – Chemical resistant goggles and neoprene/rubber gloves to avoid splash to bare skin or eyes.
