Thermoguard Safewalls Drywall Plaster Primer is formulated to prepare bare dry wall and unsealed bare plaster prior to the application of fire upgrade systems by Thermoguard.

Best Uses

Thermoguard Safewalls Drywall Plaster Primer is designed to be overcoated with Thermoguard's Safewalls and Wallcoat systems to achieve BS EN Class B and old Class O. These results achieved at UKAS approved Fire Test Laboratory.
Thermoguard Safewalls Drywall Plaster Primer can be used as part of a system to achieve 30 or 60 minute Fire Resistance requires specification and additional coats. The final finished system provides a smooth aesthetically pleasing matt or eggshell finish.

This product is suitable as a primer only and does not provide fire or anti-microbial resistance.

Application

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and firmly adhered. Ensure good ventilation. Do not apply while condensation could occur during drying.

Apply 1 good coat at 10 - 12.5m2 per litre. Apply using a woven short pile roller sleeve or synthetic brush. For application via Pressure Pot and Gun conventional with hand-portable compressor – thin 5% water OR Airless Graco 1500, 3500 or equivalent. 3/8” line, 30 mesh filter on machine, no filter in gun. 521, 523, 621 or 623 tip.

Ensure coverage is applied as per can i.e., 20m2 can covers 20m2.
