Tikkurila Presto F

Tikkurila Presto F is a water-borne, ready to use renovation filler. Provides filling ability of up to 4 mm with no cracking. 

Best Uses

Tikkurila Presto F is recommended for use as a renovation filler on Interior walls and ceilings in dry premises. Tikkurila Presto F is particularly suitable for the full or partial leveling of previously painted surfaces. For filling holes and seams and attaching sealing strips. Suitable for gypsum board, woodfiber board, concrete and rendered surfaces.

Tikkurila Presto F provides minimal shrinkage and good adhesion.

Application

Application conditions
The surface to be treated must be dry. The minimum ambient temperature for use of the product is +10 °C and maximum relative air humidity 80%.

Surface preparation
Unpainted surfaces: Clean the surfaces by removing any grease and dirt. Remove any dust and loose material by brushing.
Previously painted surfaces: Wash previously painted surfaces with Maalipesu cleaning agent. Let the surface dry before further treatment. Remove as much paint as you can with a scraper and sand painted surfaces to a matte finish. Remove the sanding dust.

Application
Apply Presto F Remonttitasoite with a smoothing trowel. Sand the dried surface and remove sanding dust. Apply another coat of filling if necessary.

Joint sealing
Spread the filler over the joint with a smoothing trowel. Immediately press the sealing strip into the wet filler with a smoothing trowel. Spread the filler over the sealing strip. Sand the dried surface and remove the sanding dust.
