Tikkurila Temaprime EUR is a single component, fast drying, anti-corrosive primer for steel surfaces which are exposed to weathering.
Best Uses
Temaprime EUR is recommended for use on steel structures, construction, agricultural and other machinery. It is also suitable for use without any topcoat on steel surfaces in dry indoor areas.
Application
All surfaces must be clean and dry before application.
Steel surfaces should be blast cleaned to at least grade Sa2. Clean small damages by tool cleaning to St2. (ISO 8501-1) If blast cleaning is not possible, phosphating is recommended for cold rolled steel to improve adhesion.
Primed surfaces should have all oil, grease, salt and dirt removed from the surface by appropriate means. Repair any damage to the primer coat. Note the overcoating time of primer. (ISO 12944-4).
Suitable finishing coats: Temalac, Fontecryl and Fontelac.
