Beko Hydro-Stop is a single pack, ready to apply, highly flexible sealant for gap bridging up to 5mm on mineral surfaces subject to damp. Can be used for both the repairing and installation of roofing areas.

Best Uses

Beko Hydro-Stop is suitable for use as a waterproof sealant for terraces and balconies and for use as a repair mass, Hydro-Stop can be used for foundation base and wall coatings. Suitable for use as a waterproof sealant on terraces and balconies, but also suitable for the woodworking and plumbing trades.

Application

Beko Hydro-Stop is pourable and is easy to spread with a roller or paint brush. For large areas a roller is recommended, small repair jobs can be handled with a paint brush or spatula. Ensure the surface is free from dust, grease, dirt, cracks or mould. Ensure the surface is dry.

Apply in 2 coats (the second coat can be applied after approx 4 hours). For a stronger adhesion on gaps a reinforcement fleece is recommended. Beko Hydro-Stop is not suitable for structural joints. After Beko Hydro-Stop has been applied, it should be protected against contact with water during the curing process. The surfaces should have a residual moisture < 7% before applying.
