Carboline Phenoline 353 LT is a highly cross-linked epoxy tank lining with exceptional overall chemical resistance & versatility. Allows application and curing down to 2°C.

Carboline Phenoline 353 LT benefits from a unique blend of resins to make it highly resistant to a variety of aggressive cargos. Carboline Phenoline 353 LT is an ideal tank lining for gasoline, gasoline blends, biodiesel, fuel oils, and others. Suitable for use in both acidic and high temperature caustic exposures.

Carboline Phenoline 353 LT is suitable for terminals, refineries, petrochemical, wastewater, railcar linings, subsea oil and gas equipment, and many other markets.

Application

Suitable for application onto steel, concrete or CMU that has been suitably prepared via blast cleaning. Apply via conventional spray, airless spray, or brush / roller for small difficult areas only. See product data sheet for full preparation and application guidance.

Allow for loss in mixing and application.
Wet Film Thickness (WFT):  
Dry Film Thickness (DFT): 5 - 7 mils (127 - 178 microns) per coat
Two coats are generally recommended to 10-14 mils (254-356 microns) total DFT.
Total thickness not to exceed 18 mils.

Pot Life: 1 hour at 24°C

Overcoatable: Between 12 hour - 7 days at 10°C
Immersion Ready: 10 days at 10°C
Cleaner / Thinner: Use Thinner #2 or Acetone
