PRODUCT DETAILS
Centrecoat PU Gloss Brushing Finish is a high quality gloss finishing coat which is suitable for application by brush or roller. It offers durability, film hardness and resistance to cleaning chemicals. Manufactured from high performance urethane alkyd resins and high-grade pigments.
Best Uses
Centrecoat PU Gloss Brushing Finish is suitable for use on canal boats, commercial vehicles and other articles where a high quality appearance is required.
Application
The recommended application method is by brush or roller, however Centrecoat PU Gloss Brushing Finish can also be applied by spray. Please contact our Technical Team, for further information if you intend to spray apply this product.
Centrecoat PU Gloss Brushing Finish should be applied to a suitably prepared, primed or undercoated surface.
Ensure any old paintwork, is cleaned by removing loose and flaking paint, plus any oil or greasy residues, dust, scale, rust, etc. These substrates should then be lightly flatted, to give a smooth surface with an adequate key, before application.
Note, if recently applied primers or undercoats are denibbed/flatted, then an extended period should be allowed for the surface to recover. Failure to follow this instruction could result in surface defects such as ‘lifting’ or ‘crazing’.
