Centrecoat QD Sheen Primer Finish yields a quick drying high sheen finish to give a good all round durable finish resistant to mild chemicals, with good exterior durability, corrosion resistance, salt spray and excellent re-overcoating properties. Ideal for skips, containers and metal bins.
Available in a wide range of colours including most British Standards, RAL and special colours to customer requirements.
Clean and degrease steel substrate. Rust burrs and oily residues should be removed completely. Sharp edges at welded seams should be ground down. Weld splatter, dust, scale, etc. should be removed. The resultant surface should be dry and free from lamination and dust.
Mix thoroughly before use. Apply a full, even coat. Painting should only be carried out under good atmospheric and clement weather. Painting and preparation should never be undertaken: During fog, mist, snow, or when rain is imminent. When the surface to be painted is wet with condensation or when condensation may occur during the initial drying period.
Excellent re-overcoating properties under normal conditions of temperature and humidity. Can be overcoated with most Xylene based topcoats anytime after through dry (de-nibbing may be required to promote good adhesion).
