Bird Brand Fence Stain is a NEW environmentally friendly alternative to creosote. It is a water-based stain. Bird Brand Stud Fence Stain is an easy to use, totally environmentally friendly product which is harmless to plants and animals.
The Bird Brand Stud Fence Stain has an enriched formulation which provides a water-repellent finish and limits UV damage, providing a long-lasting protective coat and preventing wood rot.
Bird Brand Stud Fence Stain is specially formulated to provide optimum protection and colour performance for stud fences, wooden posts, railings and other rough sawn wood products. The Bird Brand Stud Fence Stain has been formulated to discourage animals from chewing and biting on wooden substrates. This product provides a protective coating for wooden products and fences which is totally harmless to animals.
Ensure wood is clean and dry before application. Remove any dirt, moss, or fungal growth using a stiff bristle brush, before application.
Do not apply in wet conditions, during periods of high humidity or when temperatures are below 10°C. You may apply by brush, roller or airless spray. One coat of Bird Brand Stud Fence Stain will provide an attractive coating that resists the effects of fading for up to 3 years. A second coat can be applied if preferred.
Bird Brand Stud Fence Stain can be used on wooden products in areas such as livestock habitats and enclosures. Bird Brand Stud Fence Stain is safe to use around plants and animals. Animals should be kept away from treated areas until the product is thoroughly dry. If plants are splashed during application, wipe clean with a damp cloth before the product dries.
